I'm learning how to rest.
unsophisticated us
We're as straightfoward as they come. We write how we talk. And we talk about what we like. If you stick around, you'll get an ear full about ministry, family, and everything in between.

Learning to REST
After it was all said and done, God took a breather. And it wasn’t because the divine, all powerful creator broke a sweat. Rather, He was introducing a pattern.

when can we adopt?
I have been chatting with several friends who are in the adoption process, and I feel eager to adopt. Lord, let me know if today's the day! Ohhh, and let Gabo know as well:)
ordering a "smart shirt"
I just decided to get a Yale t-shirt and wear it on days I need people to listen to me. I'm not talking about my kids, husband, family, or friends. I'm talking about the other folk in my life that need to hear proof of what I'm talking about. I'll let you know if it works.

Ballerina Hannah
Hannah loves dancing. Always has. Hopefully always will. Last Monday she took the stage in her shiny little tootoo and big bow, and did some serious hip shaking. Now this was suppose to be a ballet dance, but we gave'em lots of grace since the class is full of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Twirling and spinning are some of H's favorite moves, but when Grease Lightening came over the speaker she couldn't stop groovin' and movin'. The girl loves to perform and this was the perfect stage for it.

Learning to remove the masks
Oh my gosh, I am learning to drop masks left and right, and really be me. I just posted like 5 old posts that I wrote with the intentions of fixing them, editing them, or making them sound better, but never got around to it. So today I pushed "publish" ... just to prove that I can publish something not perfectly written with the prettiest pictures of my kids, and maybe even without spell check. IN YOUR FACE-- PERFECTION MASK.
March Madness in Mexico (March 2012 that is)
Our March madness began with an AMAZING marriage retreat with the staff here at B2B.
Gabo went to Colorado to meet our nephew, baby Oliver.
Hannah's paci was "chewed up" by a dog in Saltillo.
Our family went on our first mission trip, as a family of 5.
Evan can crawl and loves oatmeal.
Alex has 2 teeth and can clap.
The boys learned to put themselves to sleep, and have been sleeping THROUGH the night!
